ABOUT ARTTEAMB

Mr. Tonevitski was born in 1955 in Kiselevsk, Russia (then Soviet Union).  In 1976-1980 he studied and received a diploma in the field of artist-designer in the College of Art, located in the city Rostov na Donu. Tonevitski started as an artist and designer in St. Petersburg, turning up numerous exhibitions and shows.

At the moment, he is working for well-known “Kay Anger” New York Company as an Art Designer for the ladies evening wear collection. Evgeni Tonevitski creates many works together with colleague Marina Bozin. Their duet is called ARTTEAMB, and he has had many exhibitions in both Russia and the USA.

This is a collective that encourages self-expression through visual art,  fashion design collection and book illustration. Artists believe that being creative is what connects each of us with the highest power in the universe, and that the arts lift the spirit and raises the collective consciousness of humanity.

Evgeni Tonevitski is quickly becoming one the most talked about and fascinating artists in the fashion industry. Basically, he is the Symbolist who works with ink, pen, oil, and acrylic. Though his main symbol is an image of Woman, his latest exhibit at the Jewish Folk Gallery “Fly to the Star” depicts some other new symbols he came up with.
